Exact release Date of BF:BC

So i want to the Game Shop after school, to per-order BF:BC (Gold Edition) n asked when the exact release Date is....
They said 1.07.08 i was like huh? :s
He answered with its the Gold Edition who release at 1.07.08
So i asked for the Normal Edition n it release the 24th of June.
I been confused cause its 1week later where i ll miss to play.
should i wait for the Gold Edition?
hmm...
Maybe i ll try on another game shop for to get the gold one earlier.
What do u think 2 buy if it is for every country..?

The Exact date should be 27th June. The guy you spoke to obviously had no idea what he was talking about.

+ Get the Gold Edition, will give us a strong advantage to have new weapons early. You won't have to spend Unlock points on those weapons.

The gold edition isn't available in Belgium so I will get the normal one. iChozen: it's not an advantage man. If you unlock the best weapons in the beginning it doesn't matter.

Play for you weapons, that way you will have more fun because you can always look forward to a new unlock.

at first i thought about getting the gold edition too, but i don't think that makes much sense now. the weapons are well balanced so you don't have a real advantage... and you can unlock them later
and for a metall box and a poster, i don't want to pay 10€!

preordering is a good idea, cause you will receive a code, with which you can unlock a weapon (one of the "find all five)
but i think this only works for special online shops like amazone.com
i pre-ordered it, but i didn't receive the code yet (amazon.at)
maybe it works only for amazone.com ....
