| Here i'm gonna explain to you why hacking your PSP is really fun.
Firstly, if people hack their PSP, it's just because they want to do things that aren't possible with an official firmware. There are different ways to hack a PSP : - installing a modchip - downgrading and installing a custom firmware (or not)
I'm just gonna speak about the second possibility, cause it's the easiest and the most common way to hack your PSP.
So what can you do with a custom firmware ? You can : -> Run homebrews (= home made programms) -> Run backups (= copy of your games) -> Customize your XMB (= Cross Media Bar, the interface of the PSP) -> Modify a few things like CPU speed (not very important) -> ...
Later, if you ask me some questions like "How do you customize your XMB", I will make new HELPS for this (I can answer to ALL questions, I think )
Note : Hacking (I don't like this word) your PSP is 100% LEGAL. Running copys of your own games isn't an offence. What is ILLEGAL is to download games from internet. |

| I've looked on internet and it's not possible to use your psp as a ps3 controller yet. Sony said that it would possible in the future, for the games who don't need L2, L3, R2, R3 buttons and the 2nd joystick.
But I've also seen that your PSP could be used by different ways for a few ps3 games (for exemple the PSP could be a mirror for Gran Turismo 5)

| It's ur rank m8 ^^ , lol. I read about that a "sleeping" Ps3 can be turned oon by a PSP from a PSP. And not just that. Like if ur PSP is in U.S.A and the Ps3 in France. Then u can still activate it. _________________
